Híjole Tequila is an up-and-coming tequila brand that is making a big splash in the U.S. market. They have secured partnerships with professional sports teams such as: The Denver Broncos, San Antonio Spurs, New Jersey Devils, New York Mets, FC Barcelona, and many more.

The ask was to create a look and feel for the San Antonio Spurs 2023/24 season. It was a challenge to create a balance between brand elements from Híjole and the Spurs. The solution was to use a mix of imagery and high-energy illustrative elements inspired by collage. By using Hijole red we were able to create over-all unity.

HÍJOLE! SOCIAL MEDIA

The requirements of the client was to provide 10 instagram posts per month. The challenge was to juggle all of the sports partnerships, highlight important events, and most importantly, promote Híjole. In order to tackle the challenge we developed an Híjole Social Playbook that would bring unity and consistency to the overall feed. The playbook consisted of photography treatments, Illustrative elements, recipe templates, game day templates and simple animations.

Híjole was given ad space in the Broncos game day program at Mile High Stadium. Incorporating the actual tequila bottle in the advertisement was a high priority for Híjole. Illustrative elements created for the playbook were used to ground the bottle in the design. The program was handed out to every fan that attended Broncos home games this season.
